We had fun time this Christmas watching the grand kids opening their present and playing with all their new toys. Also have lots of good food.

OC Cruz-in

Ocean City, Md. held the yearly Cruz-in again this year. There where a lot of nice older cars and Hot Rods to look at. Some of the guys got into trouble for doing burn outs on the streets, but boys will be boys! Some of the nicest rides that I have seen in a long time.

2010 Camping Trip

Your 2010 camping trip on Skyline drive was a great time but started out bad before we left home. The day before we where due to leave we had the Travel Trailer all packed and ready to go, But when we try to put the slide out in it did nothing and was stuck in the out position so we could not move the camper. We worked on it all day with no luck. So we call our daughter and son in-law and borrowed their little popup camper. Hooked to the truck and we where off. The rest of the trip went great with not problems. While we where camping we meet another group that was camping next to us and we had time talking to them while sitting around the camp fires at night. One night they made home made ice at the camp site and invited us to their camp site for some . My sister and brother in-law and my mom also came up to spend a couple of days with us and we took a little road trip to West Va.

Assateague Island Camping Trip

Took a weekend camping trip to Assateague Island. We had to stay on the Bay side because they where all booked up on the ocean side camp sites. Frist time we had stayed on the bay side but still had a good time. There where a lot of wild horses walk around in the camp sites so you have to keep all food put away so they can not get to it.

Skyline Drive Vacation 2009

Our trip to Skyline Drive Va. was a little different this year we sold the truck camper and got a 33’ foot travel trailer for a little more room. Pulling the camper up the mountains took a little getting used to but was not that bad. We did something a little different this year and stayed at two camp grounds . The first of the trip we stayed at Country Way camp ground in Luray, Va. and the second half of the trip we where back to Big Meadows Camp Ground on Skyline Drive. We spend a lot of time riding on the back country roads and on the Drive looking for Bears.

Skyline Drive Vacation

On our trip to Skyline Drive Va. we where able to see more Bears than we have in the past. They are sometime hard to spot in the woods when we are driving down the drive have to keep a sharp eye on the woods and the side of the road. The weather was great on this trip and had good times sitting around the camp fire at night.

Camping along Skyline Drive in Va. is one of our favorite places to go camping. We try to go there a couple time a year and always have a great time. We like to ride and look for bear. Our favorite place to camp is Big Meadows Camping Ground. There are no hook up so we dry camp but that is not a problem because we carry on broad water and bath in camper.

Beach Camping 2005

We have a great group of friends that we camp with at the beach on the weekend. We always have a good time and there is a lot of food and drinks.
